6 more Harrow properties get the benefit of Newframe’s Solar Glass Garden Canopy

Following on from the successful pilot scheme in 2024, Harrow Council rolled out a further phase of solar garden canopy installs to 6 lucky residents in the Borough, all of whom are really pleased with their new canopies. With 7 properties now benefitting from free solar-powered energy the savings are starting to add up with an annual kW hours totalling 17,900. The 7 solar canopies are contributing 68% of annual power usage for each property with a lifetime property payback of £325,514, plus the EPC ratings have increased 15 points from E-C and the property value has also increased because of the solar installation.

In total, 447,025 kW hours of power will be produced over the product lifetime, saving 142,100kg of CP2 – the equivalent to planting 1092 trees!
