Secondary glazing to property in Conservation Area
Secondary glazing to property in Conservation Area
Banish the winter chills with Secondary glazing when original windows can’t be replaced.
A Sussex Children’s charity needed to update the glazing at one of their properties but were hampered by the old property being in the Conservation area which prohibits the replacement of single glazed original timber windows with new double glazed windows. The solution is the installation of secondary glazing instead. Each one was designed to match the openers, shape and size of the original window exactly and sit neatly inside within the existing reveal. As well as a reduction in cold and moisture ingress, the secondary glazing also keeps noise out and warmth in, thereby reducing energy costs too.
